Scholarships for meritorious students are awarded according to the performance of a student in an entrance exam, like KCET or COMEDK. BITM is a Private Engineering College located in Ballari, Karnataka. It is managed by Ballari Educational Trust and it's not affiliated with the government. The college offers under graduate and postgraduate courses in various engineering disciplines-BE/ BTech and M.Tech. BITM is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education and also has an affiliation with Visvesvaraya Technological University. Though KCET is the predominant entrance for the Karnataka students, BITM also accepts scores of COMEDK UGET for students from other states.
