Hi,
If you are talking about first semester courses, then it is somewhere around August 2nd week. It varies from August first to second week. Classes start after all the orientation is completed.

BIT is a very good college. I have had many friends who graduated from the college and landed in good job opportunities in companies of Tier1, Tier2, Tier 3 categories. Many have gone onto doing impressive higher studies.
It is also located in quite a central location of the city and hence very accessible for all facilities.
Staff and teaching, guidance for practical exposure and opportunities for internships is also good.
