Compared to St. Paul's College, SIMS Bangalore offers better placements. A look at the placement packages will demonstrate the justification behind this. The average package at SIMS was INR 5.5 lakh, while the highest package provided is INR 14 LPA. The maximum package available at St. Paul's College is INR 10 LPA, with an average of INR 3.5 LPA. It is evident how the two are different. Despite this, the placement rate of students in both institutes is nearly the same.
Please also look at other factors before taking admission in any college. Some key factors are fee structure, faculties, and extra curricular.

No, not at all. SIMS Bangalore is a state government college that provides a variety of courses. It charges a relatively small college fee. Students of Karnataka pay fees ranging from 3000 INR to 4000 INR per semester, depending on their subject. For students from other states, it is a bit expensive—roughly 10,000 INR per semester.
Overall, fee is very nominal and is best fit for students looking for budget friendly college.

The official college website does not specify a deadline for applications. You should fill up the form as soon as you receive your results because it offers merit-based addition in UG. Admissions are typically accepted from July to August.
The application for admission to the MBA programme opens 15 to 20 days after the state government management entrance exam is released.
I would advise checking the official website frequently for up-to-date information.
