The placement rate for UG (5-year) and UG (4-year) courses has been fluctuating from 2021 to 2023. For PG (2-year) courses, the placement rate dropped from 2021 to 2022 and for 2022 and 2023 the percentage of students placed has been the same. Take a look at the below table depicting the UG and PG placement rate trends:

The Bangalore University average package is not out officially. However, the University has disclosed the median package in the NIRF report 2024. The median package for PG (2-year) and UG (4-year) courses has been fluctuating from 2021 to 2023. On the other hand, the median package for UG (5-year) courses dropped from 2021 to 2022 and for the last two years, it has been constant. Refer to the below table for median package trends:

In terms of placements, the University has released the PG (2-year) placements statistics. A total of 2,000 PG (2-year) students graduated in 2021. Out of these, 370 were placed successfully. Further, the median package stood at INR 4.50 LPA. The table below mentions the Bangalore University placement data for PG (2-year) courses:

The Bangalore University highest package is not available on the official website. As per the NIRF report 2024, the highest median package offered during 2023 placements was INR 7.45 LPA and was made to UG (5-year) students. According to unofficial sources, the alumni of Bangalore University are working with top companies such as Accenture, Wipro, IBM and many more. To enroll in any undergrad or postgraduate degree program, you must obtain direct admission by scoring at least 45% in the necessary stream or subjects for the course of your choosing. After that, pay your admissions costs through the KSOU website. Then, if you want to pursue a master's degree, you must have at least a 50% average in your undergraduate studies and pass the KSOU Master's Preparatory Program (MPP).

The university offers numerous scholarships to the students, namely merit-based, means-based, need-based scholarships and financial assistantships along with AICTE PG Scholarship. There are a total of 18 scholarships at the university-level. However, the university is eligible for AICTE PG Scholarships (only for M.Tech and MBA students). Presidency University Bangalore has not released the 2023 placement details yet. However, the NIRF report 2023 is out. As per the report, 116 UG (3-year), 1,429 UG (4-year), 7 UG (5-year), 14 PG (1-year) and 480 PG (2-year) students were placed during Presidency University Bangalore placements 2022. The median package offered during Presidency University Bangalore placements was INR 3.82 LPA for UG (3-year) students, INR 4 LPA for UG (4-year) students, INR 2.50 LPA for UG (5-year) students, INR 3 LPA for PG (1-year) students and INR 5.16 LPA for PG (2-year) students.
