Doing engineering does not necessarily mean that you have to work in that particular sector. It is just a graduation course and B.Tech especially offers a wide variety of careers to choose after its completion. If you are interested in financial markets you could probably do Masters in that field. As per my suggestion, I think, you should complete your graduation and then go ahead with financial markets for further studies.

The finance division or department is involved financial planning, accounting and decision making, whereas the marketing department is involved in developing marketing plans and strategies to deliver messages to target markets about the company's brands, products and services. If you are more of an introvert, critical thinker and passionate about statistics and numbers, then Finance specialization is well suited for you. Whereas, if you are an extrovert and love communicating your thoughts, and are able to persuade people, then you should opt for Marketing specialization.
