Dear aspirant, Glad to meet you. Chandigarh University is well known for its placements. About 95% of the students got selected in the placement drive. Top recruiters in BCA are Tech Mahindra and Nokia. The average salary package offered was about 9 LPA. Every student got the chance to intern in companies. Placement drive is one of the good aspects of CU. Around 95% of students got jobs in the last placement drive. The highest package offered was 36 Lacs per annum and the average package offered was 9 Lacs per annum. 697+ companies joined in the placement drive. Dear aspirant, Glad to meet you. A team from IBM DAKSH visited the college on 20.08.2010 for campus recruitments. 66 students from B.A. B.Com and B.A. Participated in the recruitment drive which was held in 3 rounds. 36 students were selected. Out of theses 16 students were directly hired and 20 would be joining after training. Six BCA students were selected by NIIT for jobs related to the technical side. So there is a career counseling and placement cell in the college. A large number of students have been recruited by top reputed companies in India. The faculty of the college is very dedicated and hardworking. They work day and night to provide notes to the students, give proper description of the basic concepts and also clear the doubts of the students. They are very helpful and cooperative. The college has a number of sports achievements in its kitty held at various college & university levels.
