BCA Placement

NIELIT Guwahati's BCA programme is open to those who have completed class 12 with a minimum 45% aggregate or who have earned a Diploma in engineering from an institution accredited by the AICTE. 

Through its own online placements platform, NIELIT manages centralized placements. Efforts are underway to ensure that students receive appropriate job offers following their course completion. Students can submit their resumes and register for free on the NIELIT placements portal. The site also makes it easier for potential employers to review and choose resumes based on particular requirements and skill sets. 

Aricent, Ashik Leyland, Bharat Electronics Limited, Bosch Ltd., HCL, Intel, TATA ELXSI, TCS, and Tech Mahindra are the organizations that recruit for BCA with an average package upto INR 6 LPA. 

There is no specific information available on BCA placements at DCSMAT. However, DCSMAT has a dedicated placement cell that strives to match the aspirations of students with the expectations of leading companies across various sectors. The placement cell has a strong network of recruiters and has been instrumental in connecting students with renowned organizations and facilitating industry exposure. DCSMAT offers 100% placement every year, and the college provides placement trainings, mock group discussions, and mock interviews. The average package, the highest package, and top companies for placements at DCSMAT are not available for BCA.

ICFAI University Meghalaya has an active placement cell that looks after the placements and internships of all the students. The top recruiters of ICFAI University Meghalaya in 2022 included leading companies such as Chilly Breeze, HDFC and CNOS. BCA students can get placed across multiple domains like Management Information System, Database Management System, Internet Software Engineering, among others.While there are no exact BCA placement data but according to Shiksha reviews, the highest and average package offered during ICFAI University Meghalaya placements 2021 stood at INR 12 LPA and INR 7 LPA, respectively. The placement cell guides the students for the process as well.

NIELIT Guwahati has provided placement portal, where students can register for free on the NIELIT placements portal and submit their CV. The portal also facilitates prospective employers to examine and select resumes on specific need and skillsets. BCA and M.Sc in computer Science both are preferred degree for getting IT jobs, but M.Sc is higher degree course than BCA so placement in M.Sc is more than BCA programme. Although the placement in BCA is also good, it all depend on the students capabilities and their interests.  The popular recuiters in the past are ICICI, Infosys, Ranbaxy, sony, Sify, JSW stell, spicejet, times group, India bulls and many more
