Students seeking new admissions in the university are eligible for scholarship. The university conducts its own scholarship exam known as Q-CARE. Selected students get various scholarships on the basis of exam merit. Also, the institute offers Class 12 merit based scholarships as well.

The university offers scholarship completely on the basis of merit. There are different scholarships provided, some are Class 12 merit based and some are entrance merit based. For BCA, 100% first year tuition fee waiver is offered to students with 90% and above marks in Class 12. Moreover, students with 90% and above marks in Q-CARE exam are given a scholarship of INR 15,000.

The structure of course is divided in six semesters. The total duration of course is three years. In every specialisation, multiple core subjects are taught related to the course. Along with it, there are some additional subjects as well. Common subjects like Programming in C lab, Discrete mathematics, etc. are a part of first semester syllabus in every course.

The subjects vary as per the branch or specialisation pursued by student. Various core subjects are taught related to the specialization. However, there are some subjects which are common in first semester of every course. These are General proficiency, Programming in C lab, Discrete mathematics, etc.

The university offers 180 seats in BCA. The seats are divided in different specialisations. However, exact bifurcation of course-wise seats is not available. The university allots seats to students on the basis of merit score and as per course preference.

Yes, there is a seat reservation of 25% for Uttarakhand domicile students. However, the institute allots reserved seats to other students if they remain vacant. The seats are allotted by university on the basis of Class 12 or Q-CARE merit. Students have to apply for admissions on official university website.

The application fee is INR 1,200. Students can fill the application form on official website of university. Moreover, they can appear for the scholarship exam as well. There is no separate application fee for it. The seat allotment process starts after exam results are out.
