BCA is considered to be a very good option for students of Commerce and Humanities. This is because since there is a good number of professional courses available for Science stream students. But Commerce and Humanities stream students do not have much options for professional courses.

It all depends on the job profile you are interested in. If you take B.Com Bachelor of commerce it will be more finance oriented. BCA Bachelor of computer on the other hand is more Computer Application oriented and both are equally good course with lots of career and employment opportunities.

BCA graduates have good job prospects both in the government and private sector companies. After successfully passing their BCA course, students can easily find lucrative job opportunities in leading IT companies like Oracle, IBM, Infosys and Wipro.

In BE or B.Tech you will study about engineering along with the computer subjects but in MCA and BCA you will mostly learn about computer technologies and programming. There are several companies which only asks for engineering students whereas some companies used to hire BCA/MCA candidates mostly. So my final suggestion is if you have done 12th with PCM then go with BE or B.Tech in IT/CS otherwise opt for BCA.

B.E. /B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering is all about Computer Sciences, programming languages, software development and testing, networking etc. It also focuses on using the above mentioned skills and knowledge for practical and Industry specific usage. BCA. (Bachelor of Computer Applications) is a slightly similar course. But B.E. /B.Tech. Computer Science and Engineering is bit more detailed and is a much more valuable Degree!

B.Tech with CS is a better option. The curriculum of B.Tech covers much more than BCA. Moreover B.Tech CS degree can land you a much better job as a BCA+MCA degree holder stand equal to B.Tech CS degree holder.

B.Tech in CS is much better than doing BCA alone. B.Tech alone is equivalent to MCA. And in B.Tech you will get more opportunity than BCA. But also it depends on the institute or university from where you are pursuing your degree. If you are doing BCA from a well known institute then BCA is better in that case as there are numerous institutes which offer B.Tech but some of these institutes have not been accredited and properly recognised. So in that case BCA is better. But if you are pursuing B.Tech from a good institute then it is much better than BCA.

The only benefit of doing B.Tech from CSE is that you can get a job more easily than any other stream student in private companies like TCS, Infosys etc. And the fun part is that you don't need any deep knowledge of core subjects like TOC, Operating System, Computer Network etc.

After doing only BCA getting job opportunities will be difficult and you will have to do MCA (3 years). After that you will have some Probability of getting job. Even after investing your 6 years you will not get the package equivalent to B.Tech student. I would advise you to go for B.Tech for complete learning and wider career options.

Both BCA and B.Tech graduates are industry-ready and can seek employment in IT industry or other related fields. However, B.Tech is a more professionally valued course, and there are more career options available for B.Tech graduates compared to BCA graduates. Nonetheless, BCA graduates can also pursue a MCA degree (3-year course), get the engineer tag, and better their career prospects.
