The admission to Cosmetology courses is majorly based on the merit system, but a few top institutes may ask for entrance scores conducted at the college level. You should start your preparation at least 4 to 6 months before the entrance exam so that you have enough time for covering the entire syllabus, having a look at previous year question papers, and revising the important exam sections in the last month. This will increase your chances of getting selected at a top Cosmetology institute in India.

The M.Sc. Food Science and Nutrition course at Dr. N.G.P. Arts and Science College costs around INR 70,000 per year, so roughly INR 1.4 Lacs for two years. Hostel and other charges are extra. Fees may slightly vary, so it's best to confirm with the college directly.

Although it may differ by a bit in some branches and certain curriculum updates, it typically takes 8 months to 1 year (or about 357 hours in some certain diplomas, such as Diploma in Cosmetology which involves aesthetics). The fee of such advanced diploma in VLCC institutes is usually between INR 50,000 and INR 1,00, 000 and some reports suggest INR 6,00, 000 course fee of a whole one year course in cosmetology which includes an advance aesthetics.
