The call for DAAD prize is usually once a year in May. The DAAD prize is given to outstanding international students who have distinguished themselves not through exceptional academic achievements but via remarkable and social and intercultural commitment. The prize is of EUR 1,000 (Around INR 1 L). The applications for this have to submitted to the international degree seeking students at TU Berlin.

The Deutschlandstipendium scholarship allows students of FU Berlin receive a grant of Euros 300 per month. Half of the sum is offered by the Federal Government and other half is donated by a private sponsor. To get this scholarship, students must have enrolled at FU Berlin or have a letter of acceptance to start a degree course. This scholarship is offered for the winter semester.

TU Berlin alumni programme allows to stay connected with the university and with other previous members. Alumni of Winter and Summer are allowed to join this program. Also, all the former Summer and Winter school participants and former TU Berlin University students can get a discount at the time of registering for a new course at these schools. Discount is of 20% off for in-presence courses, and 10% off for online courses is allowed.

TU Berlin University central campus is located in the heart of Charlottenburg district. The university's further sites are in districts of Berlin like Wedding, Dahlem, and Schonberg. At the main building of TU Berlin campus, other buildings of Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Architecture are also located.

Part-time work is allowed to Indian students at the Technical Uni of Berlin. They can work for 140 days per year or 280 half days. At the time of lectures, students can not take work more than 20 hours per week. Part-time work that students can take up are Cashier, Tutor, Freelance work, Sales Associate, etc.

For international students each year, the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) provides a prize. To get this prize, students have to apply as per the specified deadline. Academic achievement, social and intercultural commitment of students are considered while awarding this scholarship. To get this prize, students must be either in second or third year of their UG degree or be at least in the second semester of their PG degree.
