The B-school is usually attended by students from outside Germany. 91% of all students of MBA Class of 2026-27 at ESMT are from outside Germany. For the Master in Innovation and Entrepreneurship program, this number is 83% as students arrive from 21 different countries.
Most students have either a Business Studies, Management, Engineering, or Economics background.

The B-school's acceptance rate is 30%. ESMT Germany prioritizes students with strong academics, prior work experience, and leadership potential. Students who meet each of these along with the course-specific requirements are eligible for higher studies here.

TU Berlin offers Mechanical Engineering course at the Bachelor's and Master's level. In the QS subject rankings for 2026 in Mechanical, Aeronautical and Manufacturing Engineering, TU Berlin ranks at #42 position. For MSc in Mechanical Engineering, a 6-week non university technical internship is a compulsory requirement of this course.

Scholarship deadlines for Indian students at HWR Berlin vary by program. Most Berlin School of Economics and Law financial aid applications are accepted by May 15.
For Deutschlandstipendium, the tentative deadline to apply is Jan, 2027.

Yes, Indian students can study at the Humboldt Uni of Berlin without learning German. Students can enroll in one of the English-taught courses at HU Berlin. These only require a valid score in language tests like IELTS.
For entry to German-taught programs, a C1 level proficiency is required from Indian students.
