What are my chances of getting a call from BIM, Trichy and concerting it? My CAT score is 50.56 percentile, SC male engineering student.

Hi Abhishek, generally BIM cut off for SC stays around 60-65 percentile, however depending on the influx of application cut-off may vary. At 50% you have a pretty low chance of getting the call.

Hi Raj,BIM follows Tamil Nadu reservation policies it has most of the reserved seats under SC, ST, BC and BCM categories, as CAT cut off do vary year to year basis. As per the last year, cut-off stays at 80 and around. However, the college is considering the good profile. You can consider applying, there is a good chance of getting the interview call. The last date is 31st, so you better hurry - admission.bim.edu All the best!

Of course the CAT score is given the most preference in the admission process. The percentage of it considered in the total process, however differs from college to college. Some universities have the break-up like this: 60% CAT score and 40% GD/PI.

The next wait list will be released in the first week of April further which the upcoming waiting lists will be released in a week's gap. The final list will be concluded at the end of June.

For the first, for the 1st year, one has to pay Rs. 674000 and for the second year, one has to pay Rs.700900. The syllabus will be circulated in mid June.
