BCA at BN College is a three-year programme, further divided into six semesters. Each semester lasts six months. The BCA curriculum followed at the college is prescribed by the affiliating university, i.e. Patna University. It comprises various theoretical and practical subjects. Each subject carries certain credits. The subjects included in the curriculum for the first year are more basic and foundational. They focus primarily on computer devices, operating systems, basic programming techniques, etc. The curriculum gets more advanced after the first year, with the focus shifting towards advanced programming languages, Big Data analysis, computer networks, etc.
