Biochemistry Eligibility

The M.Sc biochemistry:- The objectives of this programme is to impart training in basic and advanced biochemistry, molecular biology, immunology and clinical biochemistry. There are total 05 seats (3Gen+5OBC) at AIIMS Delhi.
Eligibility criteria :- The candidate must possess one of the following qualifications and have secured 60% marks for general/OBC and 55% marks for SC/ST. A) MBBS/BDS (55% for general and 50 for SC/ST)
b) B.V.Sc
c) B. Pharmacy
d) Bachelor of Physio therapy (4.5 years)
e) B.Sc degree with min three years of duration
The admissions are entirely basis on the performance of candidate in entrance exam conducted in Delhi/NCR. The minimum cutoff required for eligibility for PG courses is 50th percentile. Procedure: - The application can be filled and submit online by using www.aiimsexams.org The question paper of M.Sc will be of 90 minutes duration consisting of 90 multiple choice questions (MCQs) carrying 90 marks. Each correct answer will get 1 and negative -1/3 response. Further AIIMS has not prescribed any syllabus for entrance exam.

Eligibility Of the Master of Science [M.Sc] (Microbiology):
For being eligible for this course, candidate must have a B.Sc. Degree from a recognised university or equivalent, with two subjects combination of home Science, human genetics, nutrition and dietetics, botany, zoology, biochemistry, biotechnology, plant protection, microbiology, dairy sciences, agriculture and horticulture, home Science, fisheries and public health from any recognised university or equivalent. Most of the institutions have entrance exams as admission mode. Hence, the students who have appeared in final year examination of under-graduation and await the result are allowed to apply for the course by such institutions. Regards. M.Sc. Sc. M.Sc.

Candidates who have secured at least 55% marks (without rounding off) in Master's degree or equivalent examinations from universities/institutions recognised by UGC are eligible for this Test. The Backward Classes/Scheduled Caste (SC)/Scheduled Tribe (ST)/ persons with disability (PWD) category candidates who have secured at least 50% marks (without rounding off) in Master's degree or equivalent examination are eligible for this Test. There is no upper age limit for applying for eligibility for test. The qualified candidates are eligible to apply for the post of Assistant Professor only in the universities/ colleges situated in the Andhra Pradesh state from where they have cleared their SET. The candidates who have qualified earlier in APSET /UGC NET are not eligible to apply in the same subject they qualified.
