RV College of Engineering offers the M.Tech courses in Biotechnology and Bioinformatics with a sanctioned intake of 18 students each in the year 2011 & 2012 respectively and became autonomous in the year 2016. Hence, RVCE offers M.Tech in Biotechnology programme.

Hello,
After completion of BE/B.Tech one can pursue M.Tech in Agriculture which includes study like crop process engineering, firm machinery and power, soil and water conservation etc. A Ph.D degree of three years is also offered at IIT-Kharagpur, and Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI), New Delhi. Biotechnology and M.Sc+Ph.D dual degree in Biotechnology, candidates must have passed mathematics at the (10+2) level. Bachelor's degree with Chemistry for three years or six semesters and Mathematics at the (10+2) level. Bachelor's degree with Mathematics for at least two years or four semesters.
