B.Tech Biotech is more of a professional degree than just a B.Sc. Biotech degree. After a B.Tech degree, students can find jobs in pharmaceutical companies, research labs and institutions in India. However, most students tend to go abroad to pursue their master's or doctorate studies in biotechnology and allied fields. The course of B.Sc. Biotechnology is of 3 years while that of B.Tech Biotechnology extends over a span of 4 years. LPU provides both B.Sc. And B.Tech degree in Biotechnology

Its very difficult to get admission in B.Sc. Biotechnology at this percentage. Better to go for improvement option in marks through improvement exams.

Yes IMS engineering college is best for doing B.Tech biotechnology. And remember one thing don't miss some additional courses if University will provide you.

Yes of course you can do M.Sc Botany post your graduation in Biotechnology in LPU. A four semester programme, to enable graduate students to pursue doctoral studies or professional employment, through imparting in depth knowledge in plant biology along with three semester independent research project leading to dissertation. Pass with 55% aggregate marks in Bachelors degree ( Medical Science and Allied Medical or Biosciences or Life Sciences or Plant Science) or Botany or equivalent. (5% relaxation to North East states and Sikkim candidates/ Defence Personnel and their Dependents/ Wards of Kashmir Migrants)
