Whenever you are considering any college for pursuing PGDM or MBA just the placement figures cannot be the only factor to be considered. You should try to collect information about the following:
A) the brand value of the institute in the market
B) exposure which you are getting in the institute due to its location due to its record of consistent academic quality
C) brands coming for the placement
D) lastly the placement figures with respect to different specializations like marketing, Finance, HR etc. So, firstly, brand-wise Welingkar Mumbai is a very strong brand as compared to BIMTECH Greater Noida. Welingkar is a very old and strong

In a nutshell, BIMTECH is totally worth giving a chance. A decade back BIMTECH was called an uprising and promising MBA institute but it couldn't deliver on its promise. It's fees kept rising but the quality of academics, professors, industry recognition, and placements declined. XIME Bangalore is a good college in terms of placement, faculty & Study Environment. XIME welcomes companies to visit the campus for familiarization and giving Pre-Placement talks to the students. It takes the admission through CAT XAT CMAT MAT GMAT. It's your choice which option you opt for. I told you about both of the colleges. Good luck.

The cut-off is not pre-defined at BIMTECH. It depends upon the quality & number of applications received and varies from year to year for different courses. Moreover, score of CAT/XAT/GMAT/CMAT/MAT is not the sole criteria for admission. The admission is based on the overall merit score which is calculated on the basis of different parameters and weightage.
