Hi,
No, Bimtech doesn't take cmat score into consideration for admission in pgdm core. It take valid cat , xat or gmat score for admission in pgdm and pgdm (international business). For admission to PGDM (RM) & PGDM (IBM) an applicant must have valid CAT/MAT/XAT/GMAT/CMAT score.
Thank you

Hello,
your cat percentile are less than required cut off percentile as taken by institute generally.
You can apply for the course through cmat scores they are quite good and you have chances of receiving a gd/pi call through this score
Thanku

In 2015 the cutoff for PGDM main course was 75 percentile for CAT and 80 percentile for MAT. As you have a fairly high score in MAT there is a high probability that you can get admission in PGDM main course. As regarding specialization , First year of PGDM is common for all students and option to choose desired specialization would be given in second year, so you can choose specialization of your choice.

Both these colleges are good by considering their reputation and quality. But the only problem is their batch size. The batch size of IBS is 930 and BIMTECH is 405. So there is going to be a high competition at the time of placement. Also it is not possible for them to place all their students in a good profile or even to give 100% placement. I am not saying that you will not get placement but you need to work hard to get a good company, salary package etc. So join if you have the confidence that you are going to do hard work and will be in the top 20% of the students studying there.
The other options are
1)BITS Pilani
2)We School Mumbai

Hi,
If you had a good score in competitive exam than your chances of getting admission is high. Just fill the form and prepare well for gd/ pi . All the best.
Thank you

You can still try because your selection criteria is not only based on your CAT percentile but also on you 10th 12th and graduation marks and also your GD,PI performance and your work experience if you have any. It also include extra curriculum activities and all these have some weigh-ages. CAT percentile also varies every year and first preference will be given to the pool of candidates meeting the criteria required for admission. For more information you can call on college admission office and if required you can contact me again .
Thank you

Hi Astha,
Both the institutes are top colleges offering Retail management course. While selecting the best, you need to check some of the important parameters such as recognition, year of establishment, batch size, syllabus, faculty, fees, placements etc. You can also visit these institutes personally, and talk to the students studying there, and take their feedback regarding faculty, teaching methodology, placements etc., all this will help you to take decision regarding which institute to join.
