For BIT Mesra PhD admission, candidates must have passed a Master's degree in a relevant branch from a recognised University/ Institute with a minimum of 60% aggregate.

BIT Mesra accepts JEE Main scores for admission to the BTech courses. JEE Main Round 4 was released on July 16. As per the Round 4 cutoff list, the cloing rank for BTech CSE course was 15691. Analysing the latest year cutoff with 2022, BIT Mesra witnessed a fluctualting trend for CSE. For more details regarding BIT Mesra cutoff 2023, refer to the table given below:

The eligibility criteria is the minimum qualification that the course aspirant must have to be eligible for the course. Thus, aspirants with a valid BSc or equivalent degree in relevant field with a minimum of 55% aggregate (50% for SC/ST) are eligible. The qualifying exam should have been passed from a recognised university. Moreover, the mark sheets and pass certificate shall be kept handy as it is required during form filling and at the time of admission.

Admission to BIT Mesra MCA course is entrance-based. Admission to the PG-level programme is based on candidates score in BIT MCA exam conducted by the institute. The candidates are shortlisted based exam score. In addition, it is also necessary that the course aspirants meet the course-specific minimum eligibility criteria. The institute has the right to cancel the admission of the candidate who are found to be ineligible for the course.
