BIT MCA Entrance Exam Pattern

The level of BIT MCA will be similar to the BCA graduate-level qualifying examination syllabus. While preparing for BIT MCA, the candidates are advised to check the graduation-level syllabus to brush up their knowledge of the subjects. The syllabus will aim to assess the candidate's knowledege and aptitude of the subject to check their eligibility for admission.

In Part A (Computer Fundamentals) there will be 50 questions. For Part B (Mathematical, Analytical Ability, Logical Reasoning, and General English), there will be a total of 50 questions.  

The BIT MCA entrance test question paper will include 100 multiple-choice questions. It will be a computer-based test so the questions are required to be attempted online only. Each question will have 4 options, and you will need to select the correct answer and submit.

BIT MCA exam pattern will be released online at the official website. Candidates will be able to access the details on how the examination will be conducted through the BIT MCA exam pattern. No other mode will be used to release the exam pattern of BIT MCA. Before starting the preparation, the candidates are advised to check the official exam pattern.

The official marking scheme for the BIT MCA entrance test has been released online. For each correct answer, one mark will be allotted. No negative marking for incorrect answers. Since there is no negative marking, candidates should attempt as many questions as possible to boost their chances of scoring well on the test.

The total exam duration of BIT MCA entrance test is 120 minutes.  The question paper will include 100 multiple-choice questions and no extra time is going to be given to the candidates to finish the paper.
