BIT Sindri offers BTech, MTech and PhD courses across 15 departments such as Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, etc. Candidates who have passed Class 12 can apply for UG courses. Basically, there is no dress code specified by the institution but seniors specified the dress code.

For 1st year you have to wear formal like white shirts and black pants.

In the 2nd year, you can wear shirts but half a T-shirt is not allowed. 

In the 3rd year, you can wear half shirts and everything that you want.

From the 4th year, you will be free from the Uniform.

Note-Crocs and t-shirts are not allowed in the 1st year.
