Yes, you can take direct admission in Birla Institute of Technology, Sindri. Admission to all the courses offered by Birsa Institute of Technology Sindri is merit as well as entrance-based. BIT Sindri B-Tech admission is based on JEE and Jharkhand Engineering Entrance Competitive Examination conducted by JCECE Board constituted by the Government of Jharkhand while MTech admission is based on the institute's own entrance test as well as GATE scores. For doctoral programmes, the institute conducts its own entrance examination.

The unique thing of BIT Sindri is its fee structure. If you talk about other institutions, its fee is quite higher than the BIT Sindri, but in BIT Sindri the tuition fee is INR 7000/annum and hostel fee is INR 7000/annum and the mess fee is INR 4000 per month.
So, it is cheap and the best college in Jharkhand.

Birla Institute of Technology Sindri have a lot of clubs and they organise cultural events. Fests are very awesome and many outside Students also come to enjoy the Fests. The Technical Fest should be more advanced than the present situation.

CGPA is calculated using
(Credit points×SGPA)÷d;total credit points
Suppose you get 7.1 in ist sem (17.5 credit score) and 7.96 (24 credit score) in 2nd sem then
(7.1×17.5+7.96×24)÷d; (17.5+24)=7.59
So CGPA on calculating comes out to be 7.59

At Birla Institute of Technology Sindri, students do not fail unless and until they are absent or get caught using unfair means in internal affairs. It's very rare that they fail you in internals. And if you fail, then they give you a minimum of 8/30 in the internals.

To get a seat you must have more than 88 percentile and for CS and IT, you need to have more than 96 percentile. So try to get around or more than 92 to get better branches.
