No, admission to the BE programmes is based on merit in the Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test (BITSAT) only. BITS Pilani Hyderabad does not accept any other entrance test scores. Hence, aspirants shall ensure that they take the entrance test and secure a good score.

Candidates must have passed the 12th class examination of the 10+2 system from a recognised Central or State board, or its equivalent, with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics and adequate competence in English in order to be admitted to all of the Integrated First-Degree Programs, with the exception of B. Pharm.
The applicant must have received at least a minimum of 75% overall in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (if taken in BITSAT Mathematics) or a minimum of 75% overall in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (if taken in BITSAT Biology) in the 12th grade examination, with at least 60% in each of the Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematic

No, there is no NRI (OCI or PIO) quota in BITS Hyderabad and Goa. Admissions in BITS Hyderabad and Goa happen through the BITSAT exam (except for International students).

Depending on the programme of interest, aspirants have multiple options for gaining admission to BITS Hyderabad. Performance on the BITS Admission Test is the main requirement for admission to undergraduate programmes such as BE and BPharma (BITSAT). Candidates are assessed on topics such as English proficiency, logical reasoning, physics, chemistry, and mathematics/biology on the BITSAT.
