BITS Hyderabad releases a course-wise cut-off list after the conclusion of the respective entrance exams. In 2022, the maximum mark required for admission to the courses through BITSAT was 390. BITS Hyderabad offers over 30 courses at Integrated First Degree, Higher Degree and Doctoral level programmes. These programmes are majorly offered in Engineering and Science streams. BITS Scholarship Endowment Fund is created to provide scholarships to meritorious students with a constrained financial background. The fund aims to create an endowment of INR 2 crore, which shall be invested as a Fixed Deposit and the interest generated shall be used to fund the scholarship.

At present, Merit-Cum-Means Scholarships are awarded to students whose annual family income from all sources is less than INR 8 lakh. The cut-off CGPA for each level is decided every year, however, an approximate number of students receiving the BITS Hyderabad scholarships are mentioned below:

Candidates who have passed Class 12 from a recognised board or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and adequate proficiency in English can apply. Additionally, aspirant must have passed the qualifying exam with a minimum of 75% overall aggregate in Class 12 and at least 60% aggregate in each of the subjects, including Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
