Yes the BITSAT is a mandatory exam to take admission to the B.Tech course at BITS Goa. No such other engineering entrance examination as JEE Main or state-level CETs is accepted in the institute.

Students who attempted the BITSAT 2025 May 26 Slot 2 paper found the difficulty level of the examination to be moderate to difficult
As per the BITSAT 2025 May 27 Slot 1 paper analysis, the exam was of moderate difficulty. Mathematics was easy, but had mixed concepts and lengthy questions. Physics was also moderate but had some tricky questions. Overall, Chemistry was the easiest section, and Organic Chemistry had the highest weightage
