You can access the BITSAT exam pattern on the official BITS Pilani website. The exam consists of four sections: Physics, Chemistry, English Proficiency and Logical Reasoning, and Mathematics/Biology (for B.Pharm candidates). The test features 130 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) with each correct answer earning 3 marks and each incorrect answer resulting in a deduction of 1 mark. The duration of the exam is 3 hours. No, Even if an applicant meets the BITSAT cutoff, admission is not assured. During the allocation process, a number of additional variables are taken into account, including preferences, seat availability, category, etc. BITSAT cutoff is one of the requirements, along with other things, for candidate assignment. On the other hand, aspirants will have a better chance of getting into their desired university and course if they meet the BITSAT cutoff. It is recommended that candidates review the cutoff trends from prior years before to selecting their preferences.

On June 29, 2024, BITSAT Counselling 2024 will get underway. Students will be assigned seats based on their performance during the online counselling procedure. Both BITSAT and VITEEE are one of the highly competitive private engineering entrance examinations. Since the syllabus of both the exams consists of topics from 11th and 12th standard syllabus, the difficulty level of BITSAT and VITEEE can be considered similar. As per the information available official website of BITS Pilani, only those candidates who are appearing for their class 12 in the year 2024 or completed their class 12 in 2023 are eligible to apply for BITSAT 2024. Candidates who have completed their class 12 before 2022 are not eligible to appear for BITSAT 2024 examination.

The aspirants must have scored a minimum on 75% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/ Biology, to become eligible for BITSAT 2024.

The candidate should have minimum 75% or more in PCM/PCB in aggregate and minimum 60% or more in individual subjects (PCM/PCB) in 12th class.
