Dear Aditi,
BJMC stands for Bachelor in Journalism and Mass Communication. Journalism is about news which to gather and then spread to the world. On the other hand, mass communication involves a lot of other things such as event management, advertising, photography, Direction and a lot more.
You can do a crash course in one of these things, but if you talk about BJMC as a whole, I would suggest you to go for a degree course.

Devashish, both are fine. If you are very good with maths go for engineering and if you're better off with words then look at Media related careers. There are several careers in media in writing, production or post production. you can become a reporter, actor or getting behind the camera to direct, cinematograph or do finishing work as an editor, compositor or a VFX artist who can add reality to 3D vizualizations. you may even be a graphic artist who designs the screens, or an animator who brings stories to life as a proxy actor for onscreen characters. you can get into production, whether live or animated.
