BMLT stands for Bachelor in Medical Laboratory Technology. There are about 29 colleges in West Bengal that offer BMLT course in a full-time mode of study. Out of which,  11 are owned by the Private sector and the rest 7 are owned by the Public sector. The programme provides Career opportunity as an Medical Laboratory Technicians. To get into the USTM’s BMLT programme candidates must have 12 years of school education in Science with  Biology/Chemistry/ Physics/Mathematics/Computer Science as an subject.
