Every year, the universities and colleges increase their seat intake so that all the students gets equal opportunity to pursue education from the best universities. This does not mean that the quality of education or placement will hamper due to increasing intake.

You can get admission in BMS College of Engineering even if you are from Tamil Nadu. There is no such criteria prohibiting admission for Tamil Nadu students. The eligibility criteria for admission to B.Tech in AI & ML course is the candidate must clear class 12th with a minimum of 45% from a recognized board with Physics and Mathematics as the compulsory subjects along with one of Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subjects/ Computer Science/ IT/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies subjects. Yes, open intermediate (class 12th) candidates are usually allowed to study anywhere, conditioned they fulfil the basic criteria like minimum marks and passing intermediate via a recognised board. On top of it, for BMS College of Engineering, the admission to B.Tech and MBA is made on the basis of entrance exam. Thus, there should not be any issue regarding the open intermediate candidates. However, some colleges may have some special criteria as well. It is therefore, advisable to connect with the admission comittee of BMS Engineering College.

No, the ACS College of Engineering is not as good as the BMS College of Engineering. The BMS college of Engineering is one of the best aerospace engineering colleges in Karnataka with good placements. On the other hand, the ACS College of engineering has fewer placements and the quality of education is not good. Therefore the BMS College of engineering is much better than the ACS College of engineering regarding overall performance of the placement records.

BMSCE admissions are entirely based on the rank and scores achieved by candidates in the entrance examinations. To get a seat in any of the programmes offered at BMS College of Engineering, candidates must appear for an entrance exam followed by the counselling round conducted by the competent authority. Candidates should appear for either KCET/ COMEDK/ Karnataka PGCET/ GATE/ KMAT/ CMAT or MAT depending upon the programme for which candidates wish to apply for BMS College of Engineering admission.
