The process of admission in B.Arch in BMS School of Architecture comprises the marks that the candidates have scored in the entrance examination such as NATA and JEE Main Paper 2. For 2024 admissions, the cutoff ranks were as follows:
KCET: The cut off points of the General Merit (GM) category was 375.
COMEDK UGET: For the GM category, the rank was set for students with 258 and below.

Both, Impact School of Architecture and BMS School of Architecture promise their students good placement but could be slightly different in their placements. BMS School of Architecture is often commended for its good relations with the industry and it has more diverse alumni base which in turn gives them better placements and are offered better remunerations. The employment opportunity of the graduates in BMS includes high profile architectural companies, construction industries and design consultancy firms. For 2024, the cutoffs are expected to be announced around October, as part of the counseling and seat allotment process managed by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA). You can check the official website of KEA or BMS School of Architecture for the exact dates.There is no such expected date but this month cutoff will released soon.

Getting admission to any college is not easy and this college is even more popular. To be eligible for this college hope to take the seat you should have
- "No candidate shall be admitted to architecture course unless she/he has passed an examination at the end of the 10+2 scheme of examination with at least 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics and also at least 50% marks in aggregate of the 10+2 level examination or passed 10+3 Diploma Examination with Mathematics as compulsory subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate".

BMS School of Architecture (BMSSA) provides different types of scholarships to the students who are willing to take admission in M.Arch in Urban Design courses, merit scholarships and rtain need based scholarships. These scholarships can either be granted by government institutions, or other organizations. For instance, students can apply for:
- KARNATAKA STATE SCHOLARSHIPS
- GATE Scholarship
- Scholarships Specific to Colleges
- Other specific Scholarships Individual Scholarships and Corporate Scholarships
They assist in decreasing the course fee that is requite for the M.Arch in Urban Design which is around 1.37 lakhs at BMSSA.
