The Jharkhand Academic Council conducted urdu exam on 17th of February 2025. The exam was conducted in offline mode. According to the opinions and reviews of various students, the exam was overall moderate to difficult. The foundational knowledge was more focused and few questions from advanced topics were being asked in the exam.

English board exam patterns typically comprise sections on Reading Comprehension (unseen passages), Writing Skills (letters, articles, reports, notices, emails, paragraph/analytical writing), Grammar (tenses, modals, subject-verb concord, reported speech, transformations), and Literature (textbook-based questions, extract-based questions, long and short answers assessing interpretation, analysis, and critical thinking). The overall paper is usually 80 marks (theory) with 20 marks for internal assessment. Competency-based questions are increasingly emphasized.
