Candidates need to pass BSc with major/ honours course in concerned subjects with at least 50% aggregate (45% aggregate for SC/ ST) to apply for Bodoland University MSc programme. For MSc Biotechnology, aspirants need to complete graduation in any of the Biological Sciences with at least 50% aggregate or equivalent grade.

Candidates need to pass a minimum of three-year bachelor's degree with at least 50% aggregate to apply for Bodoland University MBA programme. There is a 5% relaxation in the aggregate for SC/ ST category candidates. The relaxation in not applicable to candidates seeking admission in any other reserved quota.

Inorder to be eligible for the admissions at Bodoland University, the candidate must have completed his UG degree. The Bodoland University offers PG Courses and other Diploma and certification courses. Therefore, the candidate must have completed their UG degree. Any student who had completed their Ug Degree with a aggregate of 50% and above, in a regular course is eligible for admissions at this University. If the student had completed their BA honors program, then they must have an aggregate of 45%, to be eligible. The admissions are on the basis of the national level entrance exams for the MA, MSc, MCom, MBA, MCa, B.Ed, M.Ed and oth
