Master of Business Administration (MBA) - Batch of 2025
4.8
5Placements4Infrastructure5Faculty5Crowd & Campus Life5Value for Money
Bodoland University College in 2026 for the BBA and MBA Course Admission process.
Placements: 80% of our MBA class is hired. The average package offered is 5.8LPA, the lowest package offered is 3.8LPA, and the highest package offered is 13.5LPA. Well known companies like Nestle, TCS, Axis Bank, and EY arrived. Almost 70% can secure internships at local startups, PwC, and Aditya Birla. Sales Manager, Financial Analyst, HR Executive, and Operations Manager are among the positions available.
Infrastructure: In our college, there is a Wi-Fi table, smart classrooms, and a respectable library with business magazines. The laundry service is slow, but the hostel rooms are good. Canteen snacks are popular, but the mess food lacks variety. Sports are restricted to indoor table tennis and badminton.
Faculty: Teachers had actual corporate experience and are helpful, others lacked interesting teaching strategies. Although the curriculum addressed the majority of industry demands, it paid little attention to digital business trends. The evaluation is fair, the pass rate is about 86%, and the exams are manageable.

A brief insight into Bodoland University and the thumb rule before joining the English department.
Placements: It was all about how you chose your courses after doing Masters there. They gave you a good base to embark on the journey. The course provided you a vision about the do's and don'ts of research. They taught you how one could do research on a particular topic and how they could eventually publish a paper.
Infrastructure: Classrooms were good. During my time, our dept had no AC, but now they have installed ACs there. Also, the infrastructure was updated every few years. The university was rather new, so there were things that were just made temporary, but they brought things up very quickly. Take a look at the new auditorium, it is an engineering marvel.
Faculty: The curriculum for English was designed in such a way that you became aware of the literature world, where it was not just about stories and poems, but on a broader scale, it was about studying the intricacies of life, from politics to sciences, from life to death, and overall everything related to human society. It helped us learn to understand the basics of research, which came in handy when going for a Ph.D.
Other: The English department was rather strict, it was very miserly about marks, so we tried to be on the good side of the professors and analyzed their mentality. They also required us to give short and concise answers (3 pages for 10 marks).

Overall good, not amazing but good for a budget friendly college. Has good teachers and facility.
Placements: The placement is very poor in this college. Almost none. You need to be above other college students to get placed in a job. The college offers many courses such as Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Commerce. Not to demoralize, but very few are selected from the college through placements.
Infrastructure: The hostel is good. The mess could be better; hygiene is a question, but overall it's good. The hostel is near the college, which is convenient for those who want to study and stay on campus. The best option would be to stay in the hostel and take care of hygiene on one's own.
Faculty: The teacher is good. They provide notes on a regular basis and offer important topics and answers that need to be studied. Practical knowledge should be provided more, which the college lacks. Semester exams are conducted at the college too, and 75% attendance is required.
