Yes, and this is something many students worry about unnecessarily. A gap year after Class 12 will not affect your admission to any private nursing college in Uttar Pradesh. The only requirement for BSc Nursing is that candidates must have passed Class 12 from a recognised board with a minimum of 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, along with English. As long as you meet the age and academic eligibility criteria, a gap year does not disqualify you from applying.

Yes, students with no UPCNET/NEET. There are many private colleges in Lucknow that offer admission on merit based only on 12th marks (no entrance exam required). And some colleges organise a simple entrance test or a personal interview for admission itself. Only for very good and popularly known government colleges like KGMU and SGPGIMS, entrance exam score is absolutely necessary.
