The primary eligibility requirement for admission to BTech LE courses at FIEM is that applicants must complete their BSc degree or Diploma in the relevant field with decent scores. Moreover, for the admission process, the institute accepts JELET scores. West Bengal Joint Entrance Lateral Engineering Test (WB JELET) is conducted annually by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) to provide eligible candidates admission into the second year (third semester) of Bachelor's Degree courses in Engineering.

Students aspiring to get admission to the BTech courses offered by Amrapali University must qualify for the basic eligibility criteria. As per that, candidates who have a pass in Class 12 in Physics, Chemistry, and Maths from any recognised board of India with a minimum of 45% marks (40% for reserved). It is important to note that meeting the minimum eligibility criteria does not guarantee admission to the programme.

At the PG level, Amity Hyderabad offers admission to the BTech course based on minimum eligibility criteria. Candidates who passed Class 12 with a mimimum 55% aggregate in PCM are eligible to apply for this course. There is no specific stream restriction for this course. It's a mandatory step to qualify before applying for Amity Hyderabad MBA admission.

For admission to BE or BTech at Kingston Engineering College, the eligibility is as follows:

Educational Qualification: Must have passed 10+2 (Higher Secondary) or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

Minimum Marks: Need at least 45% aggregate marks in PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) for the general category; 40% for reserved categories.

Selection Process: Admission is through TNEA (Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions) counselling based on 12th marks. No entrance exam is required, but TNEA registration is mandatory.

The selection criteria for the B.E./B.Tech course at BTIRT is that one must first pass your 10+2 exams with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. At least 45 percent marks for general category, and 40 percent to reserved categories from Madhya Pradesh. Students also need to appear in an entrance exam like JEE Main, and their selection is based on the score of that exam. Seats are usually given through a counseling process where students are allotted branches based on their entrance exam rank and availability of seats.
