For admission to Aalim Muhammed Salegh College of Engineering B.E./B.Tech programs, applicants must have finished their 10+2 coursework with at least 50% of possible points in math, physics, and chemistry from an accredited board. The requirements for reserved categories are 40% for SC/ST and 45% for BC/MBC. In addition to PCM candidates with vocational courses in textile technology or basic mechanical engineering are also qualified. There is no entrance exam required. Admission is determined by TNEA counseling based on class 12th grades.

To be eligible for admission to BE/BTech course at L D College of Engineering, the candidate has to score a minimum of 45% aggregate in class 12 in a relevant stream from any recognised board. Eligible students will have to appear for either JEE Mains or the GUJCET exam and score valid marks to be eligible for the course.
