BTech admissions at DBUU are primarily merit-based. Aspirants are not required to take any entrance exam for BTech admission. The university selects prospective students based on their merit in Class 12/equivalent exam. Aspirants must ensure applying before the application deadline. They must also ensure that they fulfil the preset eligibility criteria for BTech admission and have the required documents to prove their eligibility. For detailed admission criteria, aspirants can get in touch with the university's admission office.

The last date to apply for BTech admission at DBUU varies yearly. As of now, the university has not specified any last date to apply. The university starts accepting registrations around Nov-Dec of the year preceeding the admission year. As the admission and the eligibility criteria are based on their Class 12 merit,   aspirants are advised to submit an application soon after their Class 12 results are declared to avoid missing a deadline.
