While applying for admission BTech at NIT Hamirpur, candidates shall keep the below-mentioned documents ready for filling the application smoothly:

  • Aadhaar Card
  • Entrance exam scorecard
  • Class 10 mark sheet and pass certificate
  • Class 12 mark sheet
  • Proof of payment of application fee
  • Category certificate (if applicable)
  • Proof of income (in case of EWS candidates)

No, direct admission is not valid to BTech at BP Poddar Institute of Management and Technology. Candidates are admitted to BTech based on a valid WBJEE or JEE Main score. Further, candidates must also pass Class 12 with minimum 45% aggregate from a recognised board. The selected candidates are offered seat through a counselling process.

Yes, if you have a valid three-year BSc degree from any branch of engineering with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate. Then you can apply for BTech Lateral entry admissions at the university. Candidates applying through Lateral Entry only have to study six semesters (three years) rather than eight semesters (four years).

If candidates seeking lateral entry admission through Sport or SC/ST/OBC Quota then they’ll receive a relaxation of 5% on minimum aggregate marks.
