The fees for B.Tech at Don Bosco Institute of Technology (DBIT) Mumbai are relatively on the lower side as compared to other top-notch engineering colleges. The annual tuition fees at DBIT range around INR 1.5 to 2.5 lakhs, which can be affordable as per the standards of a private engineering college in Mumbai. Nevertheless, hostel fees and other charges can be piled on top of this payment cost.

Candidates who want to become AE in the Metallurgical Department of various states will be required to clear the required exam with a decent score and then participate in various processes. They must ensure that they possess a genuine BTech degree in Metallurgical Engineering and must gain relevant experience through internships or training assignments. They must appear for GATE examination and apply for Assistant Engineer positions by clearing the entrance examination for recruitment.

Integrated BTech-MTech Metallurgical Engineering course is a five-year course which is offered by few universities in India. The admissions to this course is also done through JEE Main and JEE Advanced examination.

Pursuing a regular in BTech and MTech takes six years whereas BTech-MTech takes five years. Hence, an integrated course is very popular amongst candidates who wish to make a career in the field of academics or research.

The placement at the Regional Institute of Management and Technology University is generally better for MBA students compared to BTech students. As per the Engineering and Management NIRF reports 2024, the median package offered during RIMT University BTech and MBA placements 2023 stood at INR 3.34 LPA and INR 4.57 LPA, respectively. Hence, the placement package offered to MBA graduates is slightly higher than the BTech course. However, according to the reports, the number of BTech students placed is more than the number of graduates placed from MBA courses.

Rajalakshmi Institute of Technology and PSGCT Coimbatore both are renowned universities for B.E. / B.Tech. However, in terms of affordability, Rajalakshmi Institute of Technology is a better option since the total tuition fee for Rajalakshmi Institute of Technology is INR 200,000 and the total tuition fee for B.E. / B.Tech at PSGCT Coimbatore is INR 200,000 - INR 250,000. In the total fees that students generally end up paying the university or the college, various other components are also included, such as the exam fee, application fee, lab and other charges.

The qualifying cutoff marks for the CUET (Common University Entrance Test) for B.Tech at Vishveshwarya Group of Institutions Greater Noida for 2024 are not available. However the cutoff changes year to year depending on factors such as the number of students seat availability and the exam difficulty level.

In previous years, cutoff ranks for B.Tech courses at VGI were typically based on scores in the middle to lower tiers of qualifying candidates in CUET or equivalent entrance exams such as JEE Main. To increase their chances of admission, applicants should aim for a CUET score of more than 50%.?
