Kakatiya University offers BTech in multiple streams. These streams inlcude Production Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, IT, Civil Engineering, etc. For all the streams, the curriculum is covered in eight semesters. The course structure and syllabus for the first year is common across all the streams. During the first year, subjects like Communicative English, Applied Physics, Programming concepts and Information Technology, Mathematics, etc. are covered. For the following years, the curriculum consists of the subjects, that are particular to the chosen branch/stream.

Kakatiya University has a total intake of 920 seats for all streams of BTech that are offered at the Warangal campus of the university. These seats are allotted through TM EAPCET counselling.
