 Kalinga University BTech syllabus is quite well-rounded with a perfect mix of core B Tech subjects along with a pool of interesting electives, practical training via lab work, internship opportunities, soft skill development, and a final year research project. The BTech subjects taught in the classes help the students gain a lot of transferable skills, such as problem-solving, critical thinking, analytical aptitude, active learning and innovation, and technical know-how of the industrial working.

Candidates can choose any specisalisations among the four specialisations, including Civil Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. 

Kalinga University BTech course application process is conducted in an online mode. Candidates must fill out the online application form for the Kalinga Scholastic Entrance Examination (KALSEE). The application form includes multiple steps, which are as follows:

Step 1: Visit the official website of Kalinga University.

Step 2: On the left side corner of the home page, click on the link 'Kalsee 2025 Apply Now!'.

Step 3: Candidates will be directed to the KALSEE exam page, where they have to register online for the exam.

Step 4: Now fill out the online application form with all the details.

Step 5: Attach all the required documents to the application form.

Step 6: After applying, candidates must pay an application fee of INR 1,200.

ITS Engineering College provides lateral entry admissions to various BTech branches/specialisations it offers. Eligible candidates are admitted directly to the second year of the BTech programme. Lateral Entry admissions are provided either directly (merit-based) or through UPTAC counselling (CUET-based). Candidates are reuired to meet the following ITS Engineering College BTech (Lateral Entry) eligibility criteria:

• At least 45% (40% for SC/ST candidates) in a two/three-year Diploma in any branch of Engineering (except Agriculture, Pharmacy & Architecture) from an institute recognised by BTEUP or equivalent, OR
• At least 45% (40% for SC/ST candidates) in a BSc and a pass in Mathematics in Class 12 (will be allotted seats that remain vacant after allotment to Diploma students), OR
• A pass in DVoc in the same or allied stream from an institute recognised by BTEUP or equivalent

Kalinga University for BTech admission 2025 is open now. For BTech admission, candidates must have completed twelve years of school education first. Eligible candidates are then to apply for the in-house entrance exam. Applicants must appear for the exam and secure at least 50% in the Computer-Based Test (CBT). After the exam, shortlisted candidates are qualified for the final round. Selected candidates will have to deposit the fee within ten working days after the declaration of the Successful candidate's list. In case the fee is not deposited in the stipulated time, the student's claim to the admission expires & the same will be passed on to the first waiting list candidates.
