Candidates seeking admission shall first check that they meet the prescribed eligibility criteria. The eligible students can proceed with registration and then submit the application form. HNB Garhwal University BTech admission is subject to scores in the CUET-UG exam. If seats are left vacant after the CUET merit list is exhausted, then those are filled through university counselling merit list students based on JEE scores. After each merit list, the seat allotment is done through counselling. After seat allotment, students can pay an admission fee amount to confirm their seats.

HNBGU Uttarakhand registrations open within 15 days of CUET result declaration. Hence, the application window generally opens in and around Jul. The admission form shall be made available on the official website. Apart from the HNBGU schedule, candidates must know CUET dates as well. The CUET 2025 application process is expected to begin in Feb.

HNBGU Uttarakhand BTech admission criteria is entrance-based. The university prepares a merit list based on applicants' CUET scores. If the seats are left vacant, then merit list students of HNBGU counselling are selected based on JEE Main score. Further, apart from these criteria, aspirants must have the required educational qualifications as well. Aspirants who are Class 12 or equivalent pass in the Science stream with at least 45% aggregate (40% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) can apply.

A concise placements report for BTech-placed students of HNBGU is not available as of now. However, the NIRF report 2024 was released by the authority. As per the NIRF report 2024, 73 students were placed out of 248 total students in the UG four-year programme. The median package offered to the UG four-year students was INR 2.4 LPA. Out of the total batch, 47 students opted for higher studies.
