No, both the application fees are for different purposes and can not be used to substitute one or the other. JEE Main application fee is for aspirants to appear for the entrance exam, whereas, Kashmir University BTech application fee is for candidates to apply for admission into the programme. Therefore, once candidates have applied for JEE Main entrance exam they will have to apply again once they take admission into Kashmir University.

BTech at Kashmir University is four years long. The BTech programme follows the semester model, which means that each year of the programme is divided into two semesters every year. Therefore, candidates have to pass eight semesters of the BTech programme to be eligible for the bachelor's degree. At the time of admission candidates will have to choose their desired specialisation and the affiliated college that they want to take admission in.
