The university has reserved seats for candidates belonging to SC/ST/EWS and other such categories. About 40% of the total seat intake is reserved for the domicile of Maharashtra state. NICMAR University has a total of 60 seats for the BTech in Civil Engineering programme. The seat allotment is carried out as per the sanctioned seat intake. In the seventh and eighth semester of NICMAR Pune BTech course, students have to select preferred electives and perform the project work.
