Yes, candidates appearing in their final exam for the BTech degree can apply for an M.Tech at Thapar University. However, such candidates have to submit their undertaking at the time of counselling stating that they are applying at their own risk, as their result of the final exam has not been declared, and ensure that they do not have any backlogs in previous semesters. NTA has conducted both sessions of the JEE Main 2025 exam. Session 1 was held from Jan 22, 2025 to Jan 30, 2025. Moreover, the JEE Main Session 2 exam was held between Apr 2 and Apr 8, 2025 (except Apr 5 & Apr 6). Students who couldn't appear for the exam can apply via other exams, such as the SAT and MH-CET.
