IUST Awantipora and Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU) are well-known universities offering full-time BTech courses in Jammu & Kashmir. The tuition fees for IUST Awantipora BTech courses range between INR 1.8 Lacs and INR 2.5 lakh. On the other hand, the BTech fees at SMVDU range between INR 3.6 Lacs and INR 5.6 Lakh. Central University of Punjab offers only one specialisations, i.e. Computer Science and Engineering. The course is offered in a full-time mode lasting for four years. CSE courses equip students with the foundational knowledge of computer programming and networking. Central University of Punjab offers part-time job opportunity via its “Earn While You Learn" scheme on campus. Candidates who has successfully admitted to the University are eligible to apply for the scholarship. Students who want to apply for the scholarships can fill out the application form available on the official website of the Central University of Punjab. Students who have registered in CUPB for any programme are eligible to apply for the scheme.

Central University of Punjab doesn't offers any direct scholarships to its students. However, students are offered part-time jobs at the university to make them independent under the “Earn While You Learn" scheme. To be eligible candidates must have registered in CUPB for any programme are eligible to apply for the scheme. Some of the part-time jobs students can do under the scheme are as assistants in the library, laboratory, computer centre, and store.

The institution has not released the BTech branch-wise package details. However, the highest package recorded for the BTech CSE batch 2024 was INR 55 LPA and the average package stood at INR 7 LPA during the GLA University Mathura placements 2024. Check out the table for more details:

The GLA University Mathura have recorded amazing BTech packages in recent times. During placements 2025, the BTech highest package stood at INR 60 LPA. In 2024 it was INR 55 LPA.
