Ravi, its not so. It depends upon the company and its requirement. In case you end up doing MBA and go for placement drive, it makes no difference if there is another candidate who is B.Tech MBA if the basic eligibility required for the job is MBA or Masters. . What is important for recruiter is your knowledge, how you conduct yourself, how you perform in the interview.
Outside the college, even the name of your college makes a difference. If you have done a course/ degree from an institute having good reputation like it provides quality education, has good faculty, good placements, wonderful infrastructure then surely that is going to be an added advantage.
There are many good universities offering a wide range of courses to choose from. Most of them have good placement records and some even offer good scholarships to meritorious students.
