The course design does not include industry training or placements. Since part time MBA is usually for working professionals aware of the major functions and operations of an organisation. Though there is ample scope of peer learning from fellow students who come from diverse backgrounds in terms of sectors and functions.

Part-time MBA course provides the same skills and knowledge as a full-time course but at a much lower cost and with more time flexibility.

Many leading management institutes in India like
IIM Bangalore, IIM Lucknow, XLRI, Jamshedpur, IIFT, Delhi, IMT, Ghaziabad,  etc. offer part-time MBA courses.

A shift to a managerial role in your current job might require a general MBA. But if you wish to make a domain change or expertise in a specific domain, go for a specialized one.

A part-time MBA is almost the same as the regular one in terms of curriculum. It is less hectic when compared. It can be challenging to manage work and studies together.

The duration of a Part-time MBA is flexible. Students can complete the programme as per their convenience and capabilities within three to five years. Each institute has its specific duration and some of them also allow students to take an extension to complete the programme. This is the flexibility offered by the institutes to the Part-time MBA students since they are pursuing the programme while continuing with their jobs.

In 2023, the competition has reached very high in terms of cutoffs released. The cutoffs had shown a whooping increase over the years and set a bar for the candidates to put a lot of effort. With a mere 90 percentile, candidates won't be able to get admission in DU, they must need to acquire a minimum cutoff of 98 to secure a seat at Delhi University.
