If we compare the two universities according to their MBA programme we will see that both the universities consider multiple entrance exams for their admission. Candidates who wish to apply for MBA at DY Patil Institute of Technology can apply for admission through the CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ CMAT/ ATMA/ GMAT/ MAHCET entrance exam, while MBA admission in SIT Pune MBA is only through the SNAP or MAHCET entrance exam.

Since, canidates can apply for multiple entrance exams to gain admission in DY Patil Institute of Technology, candidates have multiple avenues to secure admission into the programme and thus its easier to secure admission.

To gain entrance into any of the BBA colleges in India, you must first pass an entrance examination. After you've passed the exam, a merit list is made on the basis of your exam score and predetermined prerequisites. Based on your rank, you will receive final admission into college.

They will take your quick aptitude test or an entrance test which is not too difficult and therefore you can take admission in these universities because other universities require CAT or GMAT.

Yes, you can apply for more than 5 colleges with MAT score. The limit of 5 MBA colleges is only for the MAT application form. If any candidate wishes to apply for more colleges, they can do so by filling the application forms of those colleges separately. The MAT cut offs, will be different for different colleges, so candidates must check it before applying.

Most of the B-Schools shortlist candidates on the basis of their overall MAT percentile but there are some B-schools which may consider sectional score/percentile too. It may happen that the MBA institute you choose may have sectional cut off criteria. So, candidates must aim to score well in all the five sections of MAT so that they stand eligible for shortlisting at any MBA college of their choice.
